Dancing Kids is the division of a Sporting Kids
Dancing Kids offers children in your school the opportunity to be involved in our exciting Dance and Creative Movement program. The children will:
- Engage in a variety of styles ranging from traditional dance to basic hip hop
- Learn creative movement skills in a fun and engaging way
- Have the opportunity to work in small group situations while learning valuable skills in group dynamics and group cohesion
- Be guided into improving their own dance movement based on steps learnt in class, while working towards a final school performance.
Preschool Programs
The preschool program is an introductory dance and movement program for 2-5 year olds. These programs can be held at kindergartens and childcare centres or at a local leisure centre for all children in the local community.
Primary School Programs
Extra-curricular
The extra-curricular Dance Oz programs are offered only to the children attending a particular school. The classes operate before school, at lunchtime or after school. Children usually do the program in their school uniform and all equipment and music is supplied.
Within-curriculum
The within curriculum programs are held during school hours. Each classroom usually participates in the program for 40min-1hr throughout the day. The program can be a one off dance experience or an ongoing program throughout the term.
Secondary School Programs
The secondary school program is a within curriculum program held during school hours. Each classroom usually participates in the program for 40min-1hr throughout the day. The program can be a one off dance experience or an ongoing program throughout the term.
An extra-curricular secondary school program can be also be organised upon request.
